Oregon State Lands Langston Morris-Walker

Oregon State has locked up its third pledge in the Class of 2012, Langston Morris-Walker. The prospect from�Berkeley�(CA) was overshadowed on a loaded Oakland Soliders grassroots team this summer, but is a good player in his own right. Oregon State should be able to utilize Morris-Walker as a glue guy, and he does project as a starter down the road for the Beavers.
Morris-Walker is the Beavers third pledge in their class, joining a solid forward in Jarmal Reid, and in-state center Maika Ostling. Morris-Walker can be a good sized shooting guard, or may develop into a small forward. It should be interesting to see how he develops physically in the coming years. He?ll team with talented guard Jared Cunningham, a fellow NorCal native, when he hits campus in Corvallis, OR, next year.
While there?s no overwhelming star so far in the class, the three players committed indicate a solid talent upgrade for Oregon State. The Beavers went after several out of state recruits last yea...
