Detroit Lions, St. Louis Rams conclude the preseason with perfect records

The Detroit Lions and the St. Louis Rams have concluded their respective preseasons and both teams finish with a 4-0 record, the only two teams in the league to record perfect records for the preseason schedule. Of course, preseason performance does not guarantee regular season success, but for two very young teams, winning at any level is contagious and these two teams have a good start heading into the 2011 NFL regular season.
Both teams are entering the regular season with high expectations and with good reason. The manner in which they won all four preseason games is impressive. The Detroit Lions are expected to have a high-flying offense in 2011 and if the preseason was any indication, they will not disappoint. The Lions logged a league high 114 points in their four games, averaging slightly more than 28 points per game.
