Petrino interested in Kentucky job

According to Bobby Petrino Sr., his son is interested in the Kentucky Wildcats job that will be open at the end of the season after Kentucky announced that Joker Phillips will not be returning for the 2013 season. Petrino Sr. told the�Louisville Courier-Journal on Wednesday that his son was definitely interested in staying in the SEC. ?I just know this, that he?s interested in Kentucky,? Bobby Petrino Sr. told the newspaper. ?He wants to stay in the SEC. That was his life?s goal was to go to the SEC.? This would be a slam-dunk hire for Kentucky. Petrino?s success at Arkansas proves that he can turn a program around and he was one of the best offensive-minded coaches in the SEC. The question is whether or not Kentucky would bring him on with the baggage that he has after being fired from the Arkansas gig, and really why wouldn?t they jump at the chance to hire a name like Petrino?
