BCS strips USC of 2004 national title

According to a story published by USA Today, the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) has stripped the University of Southern California football team of their 2004 National Championship.
This decision was a result of the investigation into infractions committed by former USC, and current New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush, during his time as a Trojan.
Bush was found during 2010 to have received impermissable benefits during his career at USC resulting in the school being banned from post-season play for two years and a reduction in scholarships.
USC's appeal of the findings to the NCAA was denied last month, at which time the organization’s oversight committee began proceedings to determine if any additional punishments for Bush’s impermissable benefits would be handed down.
