Report: NHLPA Proposal to Owners Will Ask to Repeal Salary Cap in Favor of Luxury Tax System, Increase Revenue Sharing

Negotiations for the NHL between the owners and the players are ongoing, with both sides continuing to work towards avoiding a work stoppage on Sept. 15, when the current CBA ends.
