Michigan will let Toussaint and Clark practice

Michigan coach Brady Hoke says running back Fitzgerald Toussaint and defensive end Frank Clark will begin practicing Monday.

Hoke made the announcement Sunday morning at media day.

He says whether the previously suspended Toussaint and Clark play in the opener against Alabama is a decision that won't be made for a while. Hoke says both players have paid the price and will continue to pay that price for actions unbecoming of a Michigan football player.

Toussaint was arrested in July on suspicion of drunken driving. Clark faces a charge that he took a laptop from a dorm room.

Toussaint ran for 1,041 yards last season as a starter. Clark has a chance to earn playing time on a depleted defensive end.
