Auburn?s Gus Malzahn Lands Arkansas State Coaching Job After Wife?s Controversial YouTube Video Disappears

Auburn’s Gus Malzahn, who made $1.3 million this year as the highest paid offensive coordinator in the nation, is taking a $450,000 pay cut to become the new head coach at Arkansas State.
He landed the new job after his wife’s embarrassing YouTube video mysteriously disappeared.
Dr. Ronnie Floyd, a pastor, interviewed Kristi Malzahn on Oct. 6 in front of a Christian group in Arkansas.
She made several controversial statements about ESPN football analyst and college coaching legend Lou Holtz, former Auburn quarterback Cam Newton, Auburn sophomore running back Michael Dyer, and Auburn players who she says “aren’t the most intelligent people out there.”
