Ravens' Harbaugh apologizes to Haley, Chiefs

Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh apologized to the Kansas City Chiefs after scoring a pair of late touchdowns in a 31-13 preseason victory on Friday.
The game ended shortly after rookie running back Anthony Allen scored on a 1-yard touchdown run with five seconds remaining.
Harbaugh reasoned that he wanted to get a better evaluation of some of his younger players, but also noted that he would have coached differently had it been a regular-season game.
"I want to apologize to the Chiefs if they feel like we were not doing the right thing at the end of the game,? Harbaugh told the Carroll County (Md.) Times. "The mindset was this is preseason. If this had been regular season, we would have been on a knee.
"The idea in that situation is to give these young guys who work hard and who are trying to make a football team to play the whole 60 minutes and give them a chance to show what they could do.?
