Maryland tries to color coordinate stadium

We've all seen white outs or black outs - when fans are asked to all wear the same color to a game. To the University of Maryland, that's extremely too elementary. The Maryland administration is asking fans to wear one of the school's eight four colors to their first home game on Monday, September 5th. The game, an 8:00pm kick against the University of Miami, will be televised on ESPN. The only issue - it isn't a sell out yet. The ticket office is calling it "Operation 54K". Their advertisement reads, "Help the Terps sell out Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium by securing your seat for the home opener against Miami. Once you purchase your ticket, and your section's assigned t-shirt color on this chart and wear that color to the game. Fear the Turtle!"
