New NASCAR Chase Format is a Winner!

With Paul Menard winning two weeks ago and Brad Keselowski winning last week it begins to illustrate the many possibilities of the new chase format.� The new chase format consists of the top 10 drivers by points and two wild card drivers.� The two wild card drivers are determined by the top two drivers with the most wins who are 11th through 20th in points.� Ties are broken by points.
There are five races to go and now the power of the wins is clearly evident.� Although Brad Keselowski is only 18th in points, his two wins puts him into the chase.� Denny Hamlin has one win and is 11th in points so he is currently in as well.� What could happen to change things between now and when the chase starts?� What if Paul Menard wins again?� He is 14th in points and higher than Brad.� He would then get in.� What if Denny Hamlin moved into the 10th position and either Dale Earnhardt Jr. or Tony Stewart who have no wins move down.� Then Paul Menard and Brad Keselowski get in.� What if David Raga...
