Madness?11: ?Boring? Badgers to take on upstart Bulldogs in regional semifinal

The first question Jordan Taylor answered following No. 4 seed Wisconsin?s win over No. 5 seed Kansas State Saturday wasn?t even about the game. Nor was it about Wisconsin?s next opponent, No. 8 seed Butler. It was in regard to the perception that Wisconsin plays a ?boring? style of basketball.
Taylor offered a sharp retort, telling reporters, ?If people think we?re boring, there are a lot of channels on TV they can watch.?
Their�run to the Sweet Sixteen garnered some national attention for the normally out-of-the-spotlight Badgers. Some of that attention probably has to do with the fact that Wisconsin plays one of the tournament?s most exciting teams thus far. Under Brad Stevens, one of the best young coaches the game has seen in recent years, the Bulldogs willed their way to a victory over No. 9 seed Old Dominion before knocking off No. 1 seed Pittsburgh Saturday.
