IndyCar: Look for Penske/Ganassi?s winless drought to end this weekend in Texas

It?s shocking that we?re now seven races into the 2013 Izod IndyCar Series season and a Team Penske or Chip Ganassi Racing car has yet to win a race.
We?ve seen A.J. Foyt Racing, Dale Coyne Racing and Sam Schmidt/Hamilton/Peterson Motorsports land in victory lane but no Penske or Ganassi driver.
The fans are loving it to see some new drivers and teams get the glory as parity is at it?s highest in the series. The last time a Ganassi or Penske driver won an Izod IndyCar Series race came on August 26th of last year when Ryan Briscoe took home the checkered flag in Sonoma.
I?d expect that drought to end this weekend at the high banked Texas Motor Speedway oval.
Eight of the last 10 and seven of the last eight Texas IndyCar races have been won by a Ganassi or Penske driver. The only two drivers outside of a Penske or Ganassi driver to win at Texas since 2005 is Tomas Schecketer in ?05 and Justin Wilson last year.
