MLS All Stars Embarrassed by AS Roma

On a warm night in Kansas City AS Roma, of Serie A, come into Sporting Park looking to make good on their words that they were taking this match against the All Stars seriously.
Those words proved true as the Italian club waltzed to the tune of a 3-1 win proving the worth of their words.
The match began to much fanfare but was turned on its head by way of an unconventional goal by new Roma signing Dutch midfielder Kevin Strootman got the ball and the charging Raul Fernandez could do nothing to stop the ball from rolling past him into the net.
For the duration of the first half it was a poor display from the All Stars. Roma didn?t give them an inch of breathing room and they could hardly keep the ball more than 15 seconds before a hustling Michael Bradley or another player would dispossess MLS of the ball.
The halftime score line only read 1-0 to the Italians but it was the 0 shots on target that was the tale telling sign of who was truly the better side this day.
Only a few minute...
