Premature victory fist-pump dooms X Games racer

Here?s yet another example of a lapse in common sense, which only proves that common sense isn?t so common anymore?
At the X Games Women?s Moto-X race in Los Angeles,�Meghan Rutledge was entering the final big jump with the finish line�right around the corner when she foolishly threw up the old victory�fist-pump, then of course proceeded to wipe out on the landing as other racers passed her by, reports the Huffington Post.
The announcer for the event said it best. ?From the pinnacle of joy to the depths of defeat.?
