According to Andy Cohen of MiamiDolphins.com, if looking good in May is any indication for the regular season, cornerback Brent Grimes is looking like a keeper.
Grimes was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Atlanta Falcons in 2006. However, before playing in Atlanta, Grimes played in NFL Europe for the Hamburg Sea Devils.
He played well enough for the Sea Devils and soon found himself on the Falcons active roster in 2007.
After spending two years as primarily a special teamer, he found himself in the starting lineup in 2009, registering 66 tackles and 6 interceptions.
Grimes started to gain attention from the rest of the league and after a 2010 season in which he tallied 87 tackles and 5 interceptions, he was voted to the Pro Bowl.
Grimes luck went bad having 2 injury filled seasons in 2011 and 2012.
In 2012, he missed the entire season after tearing his Achilles in the first game of the season.
