Report: Florida?s Antonio Morrison Arrested For Battery

We?ve got a bit of troubling news this morning out of Gainesville, Florida, where Gators? linebacker Antonio Morrison has been arrested on a charge of battery stemming from an incident overnight. Laura Christmas of WGFL confirmed the story with the Gainesville Police Department.

A mugshot of Morrison has also been posted online ? it lists his violation as ?Battery: Touch or Strike?.

Morrison started three games for the Gators this past season and is (was) expected to play an even bigger role this year.
No word yet on what exactly happened here, but nonetheless, this isn?t good news for the Florida program.
