Jagr won't return to Bruins
Jaromir Jagr confirmed the news that we all pretty much knew was coming ? he won?t be back with the Bruins next season. Jagr says he won?t be back. ?I don?t think I will. ? Maybe if I scored 20 goals in playoffs, but I was 20 short.? #Bruins ? DJ Bean (@DJ_Bean) June 26, 2013 Jagr will not return to Bruins. ? Fluto Shinzawa (@GlobeFluto) June 26, 2013 Jagr was acquired by the Bruins in a trade with the Dallas Stars around the trade deadline this past season, and it was pretty well known that the forward, who is set to become an unrestricted free agent, would only be a half-season rental. The 41-year old Jagr recorded nine points (2 goals, 7 assists) in 11 regular season games with the Bruins. He tallied 8 assists in the playoffs but did not score a goal. It will be interesting to see if Jagr signs elsewhere this offseason or decides to hang up his skates for good. Either way, at least we?ll always have this memory.
