State of Arkansas wants to force a game to be played

Every couple of years around the state of Arkansas, word begins to spread about a possible football game between the two in-state FBS football schools, the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Arkansas State Red Wolves.� A few years ago when Arkansas State graduate Mike Beebe was elected governor there was talk that he would intervene and force a game, although that never happened.� Now, thanks to a couple of state house members, there is a bill being proposed for a one-game charity event to be played in Little Rock?s War Memorial Stadium.� While the idea of a $250,000 charity benefit is a fantastic idea, the game would not be an exhibition, it would count in the standings, and this is where problems arise.
