Kemba Walker can straight up play. Jim Calhoun can straight up coach.
UConn rattled off their 10th straight win Saturday night in the National semifinal game, beating Kentucky 56-55.
It wasn't a pretty game but given UConn's defensive ability and size in the paint, I think the Huskies should be able to beat Butler. Butler defeated VCU earlier Saturday night 70-62.
Walker finished with 18 points.
Kentucky hurt themselves late by missing a free-throw late, and one could argue DeAndre Liggin's final three-point shot was not the best shot for Kentucky to take in that situation.
For John Calipari it's as though he just can't win a National Title, either because his method of young uber-talented players just can't put it together for six complete games or just plain bad luck. There is nothing more that Calipari wants to do than to win a National Title and prove all of the detractors wrong.
