I’ve never been a big fan of people wearing their team’s colors into opposing stadiums, because it seems like you’re just begging for trouble, especially if your team wins. But usually that trouble comes in the form of taunts, crude jokes, expletives, and tasteless remarks about your mother.
At worse, you get a beer dumped on your head. Messy, insulting, but all in good fun.
What shouldn’t happen is that you get jumped in the stadium parking lot, beaten senseless, and end up in hospital in critical, but stable, condition. That’s really not fun at all, and kind of puts a damper on the whole gameday experience if you ask me.
