Kevin Harvick Steals Another Win With Late Pass Over Earnhardt Jr. To Win Martinsville
Kevin Harvick made another late pass to win his second race in a row, getting by Dale Earnhardt Jr. with three laps to go at Martinsville Speedway. Kyle Busch once again led he most laps, finishing third, followed by Juan Pablo Montoya in fourth, and Jeff Gordon in fifth. Harvick gets by Earnhardt Jr. at lap 497 in MartinsvilleWith 21 laps to go, Dale Jr. got into Kyle Busch in turns three and four, moving Busch out of the preferred line, to make the popular pass for the lead. "I was holding him up." Rowdy said after the race. "I sucked. So it was good for him. I mean, he took the lead. No harm, no foul."Junior was able to get away for a short while, as Harvick got by Busch with 14 to go. with 9 to go, it seemed clear that Harvick was going to catch the #88, which he did with six to go.
