Jimmer Fredette Asked to Stop Attending Classes at BYU Due to Immense Popularity
JimmerMania has reached a new level of intensity. Jimmer Fredette is no longer attending his classes at Brigham Young University due to his immense popularity around campus. According to the Glen Falls Post-Star, the university requested that the college basketball superstar finish his coursework online since he can't go anywhere without being asked for autographs or pictures -- even during class lectures. "It was getting too disruptive," Jimmer's father, Al Fredette said. "He can't go anywhere in Provo without being recognized."
