Yasiel Puig disrespects former World Series hero

The debate will continue whether Yasiel Puig should go to the All-Star game or not until MLB finds a way to place him on the NL roster.
Of course that has little to do with the way the Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder gave Luis Gonzalez the cold shoulder on Monday.
As Dan Dickley reported on Wednesday the Dodgers youngster ignored the former Arizona Diamondbacks star prior to Monday?s meeting of the two teams.
During batting practice before Monday?s game at Chase Field, sources say Puig was approached by Luis Gonzalez. The former Diamondbacks star introduced himself, and began relating how his family also had roots in Cuba, just like Puig.
Except Puig wouldn?t even look up or acknowledge his visitor. And for the record, Gonzalez was speaking Spanish, so nothing was lost in translation.
Gonzalez confirmed the one-sided conversation, but declined to elaborate or comment further.
But it?s not all bad.
