MSG Rinkside Reporter John Giannone Takes Puck to Face, Keeps Working

Oh, those brave men and women who pace the sidelines of professional sporting events across America. They risk it all to bring us that extra tidbit of info. OK, maybe not "it all," but there's definitely some danger involved. However, I'd much rather by Sportsnet's Ian Mendez or NFL Network's Ian Rapoport than MSG'sJohn Giannone, who was pegged in the face by a puck during tonight's Islanders-Rangers game at Madison Square Garden. Here's the video: And a shot via@GardenFaithful: The best part is that he still filed a report while getting treated for that gash on his nose. In hockey, even the reporters are tougher. Of course he did. Guy's an animal. ?@brad_gagnon: @gardenfaithful Did Giannone return?? ? The Garden Faithful (@GardenFaithful) February 8, 2013
