Via:Police say three people jumped a fence and broke into the stadium over the weekend. They say they used Kubota utility vehicles to do donuts on the field, crash into concession stands and destroy several water fountains. At some point, in the midst of the mischief, police say one of the suspects lost their cell phone. The next day, they say he came back looking for it.That person was freshman, William Banks. He?s charged with breaking and entering, first degree trespassing and injury to property. Investigators say he also admitted to trying to break into a nearby car.The ECU student newspaper, The Daily Reflector, says the damage totals $35,000. Of course head coach Ruffin McNeill is angry. He?s just a few days away from Military Appreciation Day against Navy with donuts cut into his field. And this is one of the bros cops say is responsible for the destruction.Filed under: Football
