Get Excited! Mets Sign Quintanilla!

According to Adam Rubin of ESPNNewYork.com, here, the Mets have signed 30 year old utility infielder Omar Quintanilla to a minor league deal.� Quintanilla finished serving a suspension for 50 games at the beginning of this season for violating the ?minor league drug prevention and treatment program.?� That doesn?t sound good.
Here?s what the Mets got in this move:

That?s a pretty sweet offensive stat line he put up last season?
This signing obviously isn?t a big deal, as Quintanilla is most likely organizational depth.� I just hope this doesn?t affect the Mets interest in other utility infield options such as Jack Wilson, Ryan Theriot or Ronny Cedeno.
