Miami Hurricanes vs. Florida State Seminoles Preview and Prediction

Talking about the upcoming Florida State game is�a welcomed distraction from what has been going on in the world of college football.� In a down year for both ? Miami is 5-4, FSU is 6-3 ? this year?s game allows the winner to (somewhat) salvage the season.� Miami will be without safety Ray Ray Armstrong, who got a little trigger happy with the ?Tweet? button.��I wouldn?t be surprised if�his playing days at UM are over.� Here?s what we will be looking for on Saturday, as the Canes try to avenge the 45-17 humiliation suffered at the hands of the Seminoles last year:

- Run D. Last year, Miami gave up 298 rushing yards to Florida State.� This year, Miami has yet to show the ability to shut down the run.� In fact, the 2011 Hurricanes are giving up more rushing yards than they did last year (179/game versus 172/game).� FSU is averaging a modest 3.79 yards per carry, but stopping the run must be on the top of the priority list.
