Hornaday to Denette Motorsports in 2012

During media availability at Phoenix International Raceway, Harvick mentioned that former KHI crew chief Rick Ren, who now works at Kyle Busch Motorsports, had asked Hornaday about his interest in driving for KBM. Hornaday said while he appreciates the gesture, he has other options. This happening after Busch was parked at Texas Motor Speedway for crashing Hornaday under caution during the CWTS race.
To put rumors to rest, it was announced Friday at Homestead Miami Speedway that Camping World Truck series driver Ron Hornaday will drive for Joe Denette Motorsports for the 2012 season. Hornaday, a four-time champion of the series, will drive the No. 9 Chevrolet truck full-time. Denette has confirmed that it is a one year deal, with an option for a second year.
