Report: George Karl Agrees to Multiyear Extension With Denver Nuggets
The Nuggets may have a new-look roster out on the court, but they'll be keeping the same coach on the sidelines for years to come. According to league sources, head coach George Karl has agreed to a multiyear extension with Denver, ESPN.com reports. Karl's extension is reportedly worth at least three years, adding on to his seven-year tenure in Denver. The extension had been discussed between Karl and team president Josh Kroenke and general manager Masai Ujiri throughout the 2010-11 season.
