Kentucky's Swagger at Rupp Arena
Finally! Kentucky fans can have that feeling of being an unbeatable team when they are in the confines of Rupp Arena. A week ago I wrote up a post about how Rupp Arena was the gold standard of college basketball arenas and these last two seasons have proved that winning in Rupp Arena is hard for the visiting team once again. For the past two seasons UK is undefeated at home and now is second behind Duke in a the streak of the most wins at your home court, which I am very proud of. It was looking like for a while that Rupp was just a big building to play in and not a tough arena to play in. While Billy Gillispie was at Kentucky, teams such as Gardner Webb, VMI, Miami and San Diego just came in and ?whipped? Kentucky all over its own home court. Personally I?m a big fan of not only winning at home, but being dominant at home. When you watch a game featuring Duke, Michigan State or Kansas you rarely see them lose on their home court.
