Before the season began, most ?alleged? NBA experts had the Miami Heat not only as the top challenger of Boston in the East, but the clear favorites to win the East. After the dust has settled on most of the NBA season, a few facts have come to light. The first is the Boston Celtics are the standard to which all teams in the East are to be judged right now.
With all due respect to the people at ESPN and their absurd power rankings, the Celtics are the top seed in the East for a reason and no silly formula can take away that fact. The bottom line is wins and losses all other nonsense can be damned. However, the other fact is far more a dig at the foolish NBA experts. Miami is not even the team that is Boston?s top chal...
