DT Cullen Jenkins Heading To The Bears?

The Bears need some help at the defensive tackle position. Veteran defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins could be the answer. The 30-year old tackle has spent his entire seven year career with the Bears biggest rival, the Green Bay Packers.
Jenkins is a unrestricted free-agent and the Packers don?t seem that interested in re-signing when and if the lockout is over.
The 6?2?, 305 lb defensive tackle has appeared in 93 games, making 194 tackles, 29 sacks, one interception and five forced fumbles.
Jenkins has averaged over four sacks per season since he came into the league in 2004. Jenkins has stayed pretty healthy throughout his career besides 2008, where he went down for the season with a torn pectoral muscle.
Jenkins will likely be a priority signing behind Bears veteran Anthony Adams, who is currently an unrestricted free-agent.
CSNChicago.com?s beat writer John ?Moon?Mullin said had this to say about Cullen Jenkins:
