NASCAR driver Jeremy Clements indefinitely suspended after racial remark
MTV reporter Marty Beckerman was speaking Clements and a NASCAR official, when Clements used ?a phrase that used the n-word? in a conversation about driving and not in reference to another driver, according to report from USA Today.
On Wednesday, NASCAR indefinitely suspended Clements for the ?intolerable and insensitive remark? and violating its ?Code of Conduct.?
The question is, what exactly did Clements say? All we know is that it wasin reference to driving and somehow included the n-word.
Beckerman says the driver called him to apologize for the remark.

Haas, 35, in Wimbledon's 3rd round by beating Wang
The 13th-seeded Haas never faced a break point and needed only 1 1/2 hours to advance to a match against Feliciano Lopez on Saturday.
Haas reached the Wimbledon semifinals four years ago but missed the grass-court tournament in 2010 because of a hip injury, one of a long series of health problems that sidelined him at various points.
The German lost in the first round at the All England Club in 2011 and 2012. This month, Haas became the oldest French Open quarterfinalist since 1971.
NBA Youngsters with Highest Ceilings Next Season
The NBA is a star-driven league, and when you take a step back and observe, it’s easy to see that there are a number of 25-and-unders with incredibly high ceilings.
No disrespect to those who have already made a name for themselves, but the game is constantly evolving. Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden all deserve praise, but the Paul Georges, Jrue Holidays and Damian Lillards of the league are clearly the next in line.
With the offseason in full swing and the draft behind us, it’s time to look into the future. We may not know which players become full-fledged stars, but we do know who has the potential to get there.

Shinji Kagawa not happy with his debut season at Man United
Could Del Zotto Be Traded This Weekend?
"Del Zotto has one year left on his bridge deal that comes with a cap hit of $2.55 million this season, and his price tag only goes up from here. Ryan McDonagh is going to get a big deal this summer and the Rangers also have Marc Staal and Dan Girardi as part of a talented defensive corps that is still relatively young. Del Zotto is a guy who may flourish under Alain Vigneault but with so many teams shopping for defense right now, he's a piece GM Glen Sather could use to fill holes elsewhere."
...if you're a reader of this blog, you know that I give Del Zotto a tough time. In fact, so much so he actually blocked me on Twitter. Having said that, I've also stated on numerous occasions that he's got the physical skills to be the Rangers power play point man for the next decade, ...

Wisconsin Football Preview: Our Staff Predictions
So, drum roll please...... Here are our staff predictions for the 2013 Wisconsin Badgers:
Andy (Managing Editor):Wisconsin has one of the easier schedules in the Big Ten and that bodes well for a team that will need some time to work out any kinks in the system. However, this team is loaded with senior talent and is deep with experience, especially along the defensive front seven. It's hard to imagine Wisconsin not being a 9-10 win team at a minimum with the schedule and talent on this team. What may end up costing them a chance at the Big Ten title for the first time in the Championship game era is a Sept. 28th road date to Columbus against the fighting Urban Meyer's. That could be the Badgers only loss, but I c

Twitter Reacts as David Stern Milks the Boos During Final NBA Draft
David Stern will go out amid a chorus of boos with one huge smile.
The NBA commissioner will soon walk to the podium to announce an NBA draft selection for the very last time.
Maybe it's just me, but the boos seem louder than they've been in the past, as if the fans understand this is their last moment to let Stern have it.
While the level of vitriol may be open to some conjecture, there is no doubt Stern is really enjoying this draft more than most, smiling and invigorating a rabid bunch in the stands.
Here he is basically telling fans to give him all they have:
I'm not the only one to notice, because all of Twitter is sounding off on a commissioner who seems so close to winking with each and every pick.
Stern continued to savor each and every boo bird blasting him from the cheap seats. He soaked boos up as if they were rays of sunshine on some future trip he might take in retirement.
In fact, I have never seen a man so happy to get booed.
Who said this draft was bereft of stars?
As of this writing, there were no trades and very few astonishing surprises outside of Anthony Bennett being taken first overall.
Well, in walked Stern with his smirk and long pauses that seemed to be a bull's eye for all the fans' boos. So far, the biggest star of the night has been Stern.
We hate to see you go, but damn, we love to see how you call it a career.

Re-Grading Montreal Canadiens' Last 5 First-Round Draft Picks
It’s quite telling that the Montreal Canadiens’ last five first-round picks have reached the NHL in one form or another. There have no doubt been hiccups for one or two, but, by and large, each still figures greatly into the team’s long-term plans…if they haven’t already made their mark, that is.
Here is a look back at the Habs last five first-round picks as well as how they rate in terms of their development up until now:

Kyle Busch's New $7.5M Mega Mansion
Not bad to have a disposable $7.5-million or so, right...???
Kyle Busch bought a 13,000-square-foot home on Lake Norman (NC) last month for a Charlotte-area record $7.5 million...
Evidence below...
Local attorney Cliff Homesley, who is identified in the records as trustee of the private trust that owns the home, represented Busch in his 128-in-a-45 speeding case last year.
Homesley declined this week to say who bought the home. ?It?s confidential,? he said. ?I can?t verify anything.?
Of course, he can't...
The previous record for a sale price in the area was a little over $6.3-million in 2007.

New York Knicks Offseason Tracker: Latest Trade Rumors, Free Agency News
The New York Knicks enter the 2013 offseason with a lot of questions to address, most of which concern retaining their own players, rather than picking up somebody new.
With Amar'e Stoudemire constantly injured, Jason Kidd retired, and Marcus Camby slowly devolving into an amorphous blob on the end of the bench, New York has just five players under contract who they can rely on to be productive rotation players xt season.
That means they're going to have to address re-signing their own players before they get too deep into trying to trade players or pick up a free agent with the minimum mid-level exception.
The Knicks are going to have to decide which players are important to their build toward contention, and which would be overpaid if they ended up staying on the team.
Lucky for them, they've also got a draft pick to play with near the end of the first round, so they do have at least an asset or a young player coming in to help things out.
So who's coming and who's going? Let's take a look at the latest surrounding New York.
