Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder has completed his move to the Turkish club Galatasaray following a contract dispute with Inter Milan.
The 28-year-old signed a 3 1/2-year deal Tuesday. Sneijder says he had several transfer offers but chose Galatasaray, which he described as a ''top club'' and ''still in the Champions League.''
Sneijder joined Inter Milan in 2009 and helped it win several trophies. In November, Inter technical director Marco Branca said Sneijder would not play until he made a decision about his future.
Thousands of Galatasaray fans greeted Sneijder on his arrival in Istanbul on Monday.
