Jerry Jones talks about what led to Rob Ryan's firing, cites a pair of losses

The Dallas Cowboys�defense finished 19th overall. 22nd against the run and 19th against the pass. Not good enough for owner Jerry Jones apparently, who surprisingly fired DC Rob Ryan on Tuesday.

He spoke for the first time about what led to the firing and alluded to a couple of games that set Ryan's termination in motion.

1. The loss to the Seahawks 27-7 and 2. the 34-18 loss to the Bears.� "I didn't like the way we were playing in a lot of cases," Jones said in the taped interview schdeuled to air Saturday night on KTVT-TV in Dallas (via ESPN Dallas/Ft. Worth). "I thought we could play better before the injuries, and so I factored that in. It wasn't like we had a lot of injuries out here when we played Chicago. It wasn't like we had a lot of injuries when we played Seattle. I didn't like the way we played there."
