I’d tell John Calipari to act like he’s been there, but since he hasn’t, I think it’s acceptable for him to get his groove following Kentucky’s 67-59 win over Kansas for his first career national championship. I’m not sure if he made a bet with his team that if they won, he’d dance, but if that’s the case, you’d think he’d have prepared something better. Kentucky was the odds-on favorite entering the tournament and those odds increased as the low seeds feel early and often on their side of the bracket.
The good thing for those subjected to watch the Cal dance is that it was short and sweet – much like careers of many of the kids he recruits.
