Vikings place four players on IR

The Minnesota Vikings placed four players on season-ending injured reserve Tuesday.
Wide receiver Michael Jenkins, long snapper Cullen Loeffler, and safeties Husain Abdullah and Tyrell Johnson were all lost due to injuries.
Jenkins has a knee injury, Loeffler broke a bone in his back, Abdullah suffered a concussion and Johnson has a right hamstring strain.
The team signed wide receiver Stephen Burton, long snapper Matt Katula, and safeties Jarrad Page and Andrew Sendejo to take the vacated roster spots.
The Vikings have dropped three straight games to fall to 2-9 on the season. They host Denver on Sunday.
