Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow beat the New York Jets on a 20-yard touchdown run with 58 seconds left in the game Thursday night, and somewhere ESPN personality Skip Bayless was jumping with excitement.
If you thought Tebow mania could not get any bigger, it just reached a new level.
Tebow's thrilling touchdown capped an epic 95-yard drive to complete a marvelous fourth quarter comeback and make the Jets hit rock bottom.
The Jets talk a good game and boast about how they are going to win the Super Bowl, but Tim Tebow just shut them up and made New York's game against the Buffalo Bills in Week 12 as important as a playoff game.
Tebow is a winner, and his winning touchdown was the most magical moment of the NFL season.
You know what amazes me though? So many people criticize Tebow for a number of reasons but he just keeps at his job and wins football games. That is something you have to admire.
It was also nice to see John Elway applaud Tebow in the one of the boxes at Mile High.
Tebow doesn't impress you on the score sheet, but he finds a way to get the "W" and that is all that matters in the NFL. He wills his team to win like few players in football can.
The Broncos are now 5-5 and are alive in the AFC West title race. Tim Tebow in the NFL playoffs is now a real possibility and that is awesome for the sport.
