Bet on the Cubs to win the World Series

How many times have you heard a Cubs fan say, ?this is our year?? Too many to count by my ears, but it is time for the Cubs to shine in 2011. I would bet on the Cubs to win the World Series this year for many reasons. The pieces are falling into place for the Cubs to make an unexpected run for that trophy to finally end the drought, and so called curse.
According to some Vegas odds, the Cubs? odds at winning the World Series is going at 30:1. If you were to put 100 dollars on the Cubs to win the World Series, you could come away with 3,000 dollars of winnings. Therefore, people along with Las Vegas are already basically counting the Cubs out of the World Series. The same way that most people counted out the San Francisco Giants last year, or the Colorado Rockies a few years ago.
The Giants surprised everybody after preseason predictions, and won the World Series. The Rockies also surprised everybody in 2007 when they made it to the Series, only to just come up short. These two teams...
