Tomic in Trouble with Police... Again

It's been one hell of a year for Bernard Tomic. After making the fourth round of the Australian Open, he's seen his position as number-one ranked Australian player fall to little-known Marinko Matosevic. He's been in trouble on and off the court, most recently dubbed Tomic the Tank Engine for a series of uninspiring performances. But it's his problems with the police that have been the most hair-raising for fans of Australian tennis, with Tomic caught speeding and driving under a restricted licence in the Gold Coast earlier this year. Now, Tomic has done it again. Police were called to the Moroccan Apartments, where Tomic is staying on the Gold Coast, at 5:30am Monday morning (AEDT) after Tomic and his friend got into a fight. Officers had to separate the pair, and it has been reported that Tomic accused officers of targeting him following his problems with police in January.
