David Reutimann will replace suspended driver Kurt Busch in Sunday's Sprint Cup race at Pocono Raceway.
Busch was suspended by NASCAR for this entire upcoming weekend for verbally abusing a reporter last weekend at Dover. Phoenix Racing will borrow Reutimann from Tommy Baldwin Racing to drive the No. 51 Chevrolet in place of Busch.
Busch's future is not clear with the James Finch-owned race team.
Finch told SiriusXM NASCAR Radio on Tuesday he'll meet with Busch next week and their partnership will be on a race-by-race basis going forward. Busch landed with Finch during the offseason after parting ways with Penske Racing.
The 2004 NASCAR champion had hoped to use this season to prove he deserves another shot at a top-level Sprint Cup ride.
