Granderson, Swisher collide in outfield
New York Yankees outfielders Curtis Granderson and Nick Swisher collided in the outfield while trying to catch a fly ball during Monday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. Your browser does not support iframes. It happened in the bottom of the third inning when Angels outfielder Mark Trumbo hit a deep fly ball to right-center field. Granderson ran over from center field and was calling for it, but Swisher was also sprinting towards the ball from right field. Both players reached out for it, and the ball bounced in and out of Swisher's glove before the players collided and knocked each other to the ground. The ball rolled towards center field along the base of the outfield wall. Granderson chased it down and threw it back to the infield, but in the end, Trumbo had himself a stand-up triple.
