Frenz of the Family: Must-Reads Around the AFC East, May 4 Edition

If you feel like getting a slow start to your Friday—and let's face it, who doesn't?—some Frenz of the family are here to kill some of your time before you really buckle down on that to-do list.

New England Patriots

Linebacker Trevor Scott, who signed with the Patriots in March, called his new team "natural-born winners," according to Christopher Price of WEEI.com.

If you are looking for a good way to kill some time this Friday, go play with the 53-man DIY roster projection over at PatsFans.com. Good stuff from my good friend Ian Logue.

New York Jets

Offensive coordinator Tony Sparano spoke with the media on Thursday, and according to Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger, he was mum on the vision for Tim Tebow.

Ray Lucas of SNY.tv sat down with B/R's NFL Draft 365 to explain why he feels Melvin Ingram would have been the better pick over Quinton Coples, pointing out that the Jets are taking a big risk with Coples.

Buffalo Bills

Terrence McGee is working hard to get back into football shape after having surgery to repair his knee this offseason, and according to Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News, McGee says he's not anywhere near where he needs to be.

Chris Brown of BuffaloBills.com points out that the team added several special teams aces through the draft, and while those units aren't in need of a boost in talent, the depth sure helps.

Miami Dolphins

Ben Volin of The Palm Beach Post gives us a post-draft, pre-training camp 53-man roster projection for the Dolphins.

The buzz around Jake Long's contract situation has grown to a dull roar, which has Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel eager to separate fact from fiction.
