This is typically the time of year that Christian Laettner gets to be celebrated, repeatedly. Their real estate loan company has failed to pay another Duke alum, Johnny Dawkins $671,309. They might be held in contempt of court unless they can prove that the failure was due to lack of resources. Laettner and Davis are already paying back former NBA great, Scottie Pippen $2.5 million, who lent them money as well.
Former All-Pro linebacker, Shawne Merrimen is also owed money from the duo. The total due to Merrimen is $3.7 million.
