DALGLISH: "They let themselves down, and it will not be accepted..."
Kenny Dalglish has slammed Liverpool's underperforming players after the woeful performance against Rangers. In typically non-nonsense style, Liverpool's manager questioned the attitude and commitment of some of his players, and made it clear that such a lack of effort would not be tolerated. Clearly disappointed by the display, Dalglish said:"You can?t go and play like that if you want to play for Liverpool football club.It?ll not be accepted. "It?s only a friendly but it doesn?t mean you can?t put in effort and commitment. We?re disappointed from that side of it.Many of the club's squad players were given a run out, and the names on the pitch showed the depth of Liverpool's squad, but Dalglish was disappointed some players didn't take their chance to impress:"The beauty of having a good squad is putting the other players under pressure.
