Keion Bell to Transfer From Pepperdine; Eyes Visits to Missouri, Texas A&M
Keion Bell/bleacherrepor.comBy Paul Seaver (TheArenaPulse) Pepperdine guard Keion Bell, who was one year of eligibility remaining, wants to use that final year to play at a higher level.Bell will transfer from the Waves, eyeing a pair of Big-12 schools as possible destinations.As Bell comes off a season that included a suspension and ended with a wrist injury, the opportunity for him to contribute, certainly presents itself given Bell's past success at Pepperdine.Bell has been one of the top offensive performers for the Waves in each of three seasons.In 20 games this past season, Bell averaged 18.9 points per game. He also contributed 4.1 rpg and 2.4 apg. CBSSports.com first broke the news of Bell's decision, expressing his interest in both Missouri and Texas A&M. Bell is not expected to waste any time, as a visit to Missouri is scheduled for Sunday.
