Tennis Channel will spend this summer honoring the unheralded coaches around the country who help millions of recreational tennis players every day. Beginning Tuesday, the network is accepting submissions for its America’s Hottest Tennis Coach contest, with one male and one female winner to be named in August following an online fan poll.
Players can visit www.tennischannel.com/hottest/index.aspx to nominate their favorite coaches (or coaches can nominate themselves) between now and June 22. Though the phrase “hot” is often associated predominantly with looks, Tennis Channel’s definition includes coaches who are physically fit and promote healthy lifestyles, while also being motivational and inspirational to the players they instruct. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and USTA or USPTA credentialed, and exhibit a passion for the game of tennis.

No French Open for Fish, Petkovic
Tenth-ranked Mardy Fish and women's No. 16 Andrea Petkovic are among several players who pulled out of the upcoming French Open on Monday.
Fish has not played a match for more than a month and organizers said the big-serving American has fatigue. Petkovic of Germany has a right ankle problem.
They are being replaced by Canada's Frank Dancevic and Lesia Tsurenko of Ukraine.
Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay (knee) and Spain's Pere Riba (left leg) also pulled out of the men's tournament and were replaced by Blaz Kavcic of Slovenia and Italy's Simone Bolelli.
In the women's draw, Agnes Szavay of Hungary (back), Slovakia's Daniela Hantuchova (left foot) and Switzerland's Timea Bacsinszky (abdominal) were replaced by Mathilde Johansson of France, Spain's Laura Pous-Tio and Argentina's Paula Ormaechea.

Reds fan catches back-to-back home runs

Caleb Lloyd got to live the fan’s dream at a baseball game not once … but twice on Monday night. Lloyd, a Reds fan who plays soccer at Thomas More College, caught back-to-back home runs during the Reds-Braves series opener.
The first ball was a homer from pitcher Mike Leake in the fourth that made it a 2-1 lead for Cincinnati. Zack Cozart followed with a home run, making it back-to-back homers for the Reds, and back-to-back home run balls for Lloyd.
“The first one I actually barehanded, ” Lloyd said after the game. “It hit my hand and I didn’t expect to actually catch it. I caught it, and then it bounced off the palm of my hand and I reached out and grabbed it. It hurt really bad, so I’m like, I’m not doing it again. But the second one bounced behind me and then it bounced into my lap. My buddy’s like, ‘You caught a second one!’ I was like, oh my gosh, this is crazy.”
Lloyd told reporters he wasn’t even planning to attend the game until his friend called and invited him that day. He gave the second home run ball to his friend and returned the first to Leake because it was the pitcher’s first career home run.
There’s actually more to the story: The Reds actually went back-to-back-to-back that inning, but Lloyd didn’t catch Drew Stubbs’ blast. Stubbs also homered in the first, so he went back-to-back in the game.
The only thing that ranks on a similar level for improbability was this Orioles fan catching three foul balls in the same game. As someone who’s never caught a home run or foul ball at a ballgame, I can say I’m truly envious.

Why Kellen Winslow Acquistion Was Best Possible Move for Seattle Seahawks
In a deal that has been in the works for a few days now, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers shipped Kellen Winslow to the Seahawks for a conditional draft pick earlier today. The trade came after the Bucs were able to sign their new tight end, Peyton Manning's old friend Dallas Clark.
While the Bucs may have been excited to get what they consider an upgrade at tight end, this trade benefited the Seahawks tremendously.
The Seahawks had to give up at most a sixth-round pick (or seventh-, depending on Winslow's production) for a player that is still in the prime of his career and has not showed any sign of slowing down his production, which has been substantial for all his years except for 2008, when he was injured for six games.
However, Winslow as hardly had trouble with the injury bug in his career, only sitting out the previously mentioned six games through six years of starting.
Winslow has had great receiving seasons, even getting a 1,000-yard season in 2007, but he has had his weakness in the blocking part of his job description. He hasn't been bad, but he has not been that extra offensive lineman that some tight ends are.
Fortunately for him, though, is that his new partner in crime, Zach Miller, is that hybrid that can block as well as receive.
Miller and Winslow could make up the newest NFL tag team that have been beginning to surface, with the most notable being Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots. The new Seattle's one-two punch, however, could be equally effective if used the right way.
Seattle has been in the headlines and has been criticized tremendously this offseason due to moves made in free agency and the draft. However, I doubt there will be many that argue this move for Winslow. The Seahawks gave up a late-round pick for a former top-10 pick (sixth overall by Cleveland) and annual star at the tight end position.
If Seattle can utilize both of its star tight ends, and maybe even put Cameron Morrah in the mix, this could be a very good year for the Seahawks
Kim to miss the rest of regular PGA Tour season
Anthony Kim will miss the rest of the FedEx Cup season to treat chronic tendinitis in his left arm.
Kim has made only two cuts this year and has withdrawn from his last three tournaments. Along with nagging pain in his left forearm, Kim hurt his right elbow when his club struck a rock while he was trying to hit out of a bush at the Texas Open.
He decided to take time off after seeing the same Cleveland doctor who operated on his left thumb two years ago.
Kim says he's been trying to revive his game and has been held back by injuries. Treatment is expected to last four to five months. That gives Kim hope of returning after the Ryder Cup for the Fall Series.

Mancini downplays rumors he wants Ibrahimovic
Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini has downplayed rumors he is interested in signing AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Mancini met with Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani at the Italian club's headquarters on Monday, but the former Inter Milan coach says it was simply a courtesy visit.
Mancini says, ''Milan fans can stay calm'' but added that ''Ibrahimovic is a great champion.''
The pair spent two years together at Inter after Mancini signed Ibrahimovic in 2006.
Ibrahimovic was Serie A's top goal scorer last season with 28 goals.
The 30-year-old Sweden captain recently said he wants to stay at Milan until his contract ends in 2014 but the club was forced last week to deny reports of a fall-out with coach Massimiliano Allegri.
