The PGA Tour was in Boston over the weekend, and the eventual winner of the latest tour playoff tournament did something that will surely make Bostonians proud.
Deutsche Bank Championship winner Henrik Stenson reportedly donated $25,000 of his weekend winnings to the One Fund to help victims and families of April?s attacks on the Boston Marathon. Golfer and analyst Paul Azinger, a Massachusetts native himself, tweeted the news Monday, and Stenson also talked about it after winning the tournament Monday at TPC Boston in Nortion.
?We are all wearing this ribbon today and this week, and I just felt like if I have a nice day today,? Stenson said, according to the Boston Herald. ?I want to give something back.?

Texas Tech walk-on freshman QB shows he can Dougie, too
Texas Tech quarterback Baker Mayfield won the Big 12's Offensive Player of the Week honors after throwing for 413 yards and accounting for five touchdowns in Friday's 41-23 win over SMU.
After the game, though, Texas Tech players Bradley Marquez and Pete Robertson spilled the beans about when Mayfield stole the show at a freshmen talent show during fall camp.
"I'm just going to be honest, I'd never seen a white kid do the Dougie. Like, at all," Robertson said. "When he did the Dougie, I'm just like, 'Is he really doing this right now?' He killed it."
Naturally, Mayfield's rendition made it to social media, but gained a whole new level of relevance after his performance on Friday. And it lives up to the hype. Take a look:

Regan Smith to drive for Phoenix Racing
Regan Smith and Kurt Busch are trading places - at least for now.
Smith, 29, will drive the No. 51 Phoenix Racing Chevrolet at Charlotte Motor Speedway while Busch takes over the seat in the No. 78 Furniture Row Chevrolet for the remainder of the season and on to next year.
"We're looking forward to having Regan in our car," said Phoenix Racing general manager Steve Barkdoll. "Regan performed the tire test at Kansas and that should be helpful at intermediate tracks. We believe he can help get our program back on track and help attract sponsorship going forward."
Smith has competed in NASCAR since 2002 and in the Sprint Cup Series since 2007. His sole official win came last year at Darlington Raceway, but Smith came incredibly close to his first victory here at Talladega in the fall of 2008. However, in NASCAR's judgment, Smith was dropped from first to 18th after the race for passing below the yellow line to advance his position.
Smith is currently a career-best 23rd in the Cup

Celebration knocks UGA WR out for the season
Not only did Georgia lose its opener at Clemson last night, but the Bulldogs also lost one of their top receivers for the season: Malcolm Mitchell. Head coach Mark Richt has confirmed that Mitchell tore his ACL while celebrating RB Todd Gurley?s 75-yard touchdown run less than 10 minutes into last night?s game.
