Late pass lands Stenhouse Jr. win
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. used a late push from runner-up Brad Keselowski to pass Kevin Harvick and win the Nationwide race at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday night.
After a restart with three laps to go, Harvick lost the lead on the final lap as his car got loose coming out of Turn 2 and, Stenhouse, who was bumped by Keselowski on the front straightaway, went ahead for good in Turn 3.
Stenhouse, the defending series champion, raced to his fourth Nationwide victory of the season, and moved within 12 points of leader Elliott Sadler.
Keselowski got into a heated argument after the race with Harvick, who accused him of throwing a water bottle out of his car to cause an earlier caution flag.
Harvick, who led 157 of the 195 laps, failed to win a Nationwide race for the eighth time when leading the most laps.
Sadler finished fourth, followed by Justin Allgaier, Austin Dillion, pole winner Kyle Busch, Cole Whitt, Sam Hornish Jr. and Michael Annett.

Injured Nadal out two more months
Rafael Nadal has a partially torn patella tendon in his left knee and will be sidelined for at least the next two months, including Spain's upcoming Davis Cup semifinal against the United States.
In a website posting linked on his Twitter feed, the 11-time Grand Slam champion says he ''will be back when I have no pain.''
He adds: ''I really want to be back competing and enjoying the tennis tour, but I have many years in front of me and my knee needs some rest.''
Nadal has been out of action since losing in the second round of Wimbledon in late June, missing the London Olympics and the U.S. Open.
The season-ending ATP World Tour finals begin in London on Nov. 5.

Kohlschreiber beats Isner after 2 a.m. at US Open
Tying the record for latest finish at the U.S. Open, Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany eliminated marathon man John Isner of the United States 6-4, 3-6, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 at 2:26 a.m. Monday, reaching the fourth round.
The official completion time was the same as a second-round match in 1993, when Mats Wilander beat Mikael Pernfors.
The 19th-seeded Kohlschreiber won his sixth consecutive five-setter. No. 9 Isner dropped his fourth in a row.
An earlier three-set women's match in Arthur Ashe Stadium was interrupted by a rain delay, so Isner and Kohlschreiber didn't start until after 11 p.m. Sunday. They played 3 hours, 20 minutes.
That length pales in comparison to Isner's record 11:05 victory at Wimbledon in 2010 and his 5:41 loss at the French Open this year.

Mariota finished with three touchdown passes and zero interceptions in his first ever college start. Imagine what his stats might have been if he had played the whole game.Of course Mariota had some offensive help. Running back Kenjon Barner scored two touchdowns and rushed for 66 yards on 9 carries. De’Anthony Thomas also had an explosive night on offense as both a rusher and receiver.
