Doug Fister got hit in the head with a line drive
During game two of the World Series on Thursday, Doug Fister of the Tigers got hit in the head with a line drive by Gregor Blanco in the second inning. Fister didn't exit the game after getting hit, and would then walk Brandon Crawford before forcing Madison Bumgarner to pop out to end the second inning. Tigers doctors didn't look over Fister for very long, which is a bit concerning in the concussion-minded era of today, but he's still in the game after four innings and hasn't allowed a run yet.
